Experience
I received my undergraduate degree in science and education and since then I have worked in schools around the world teaching English and mathematics. I've had three decades of experience teaching these subjects with the most diverse population of students imaginable. I enjoy discovering how different and yet similar students are in their approach of science and math and finding new ways to help them achieve their academic goals. Whether working with students in Scotland, Egypt, London, Kazakhstan, or Arkansas I have found that students want to learn, they simply need someone willing to work with them at their level. I currently offer tutoring in a variety of subjects, including algebra 1 & 2, calculus 1-3, differential equations, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, pre-calculus, trigonometry, arithmetic, algebra 3/4, finite mathematics, pre-algebra, discrete math, languages, and Arabic. I tutor similar subjects for the IB and AP programs and I am available to help students who are preparing for the GED or SAT. With experience in the teaching methodologies of such a wide variety of academic institutions, I feel confident I will be able to find a tool or technique for each of my students to propel them to the next level of understanding.
